Taizhou Shenxianju: Pedestrian Suspension Bridge, Feixiang Bridge

Project Overview: The Xianren Suspension Bridge at Shenxianju in Taizhou—the Feixiang Bridge—is situated on Feixiang Mountain, featuring lotus‑shaped piers and facing the Three Saints Listening to the Sutra. As each passing visitor stands beneath it, they cannot help but marvel at nature’s extraordinary artistry. The bridge employs a two‑span suspension system with un‑reinforced girders, with its central pier anchored atop Feixiang Mountain. Its span arrangement is (100 + 112.5 m), and the deck width is 3 m. The main suspenders are arranged symmetrically on either side of the cross‑section, with three suspenders on each side. In total, the suspenders comprise 100 epoxy‑coated steel strands, each 15.24 mm in diameter.
