Project Overview: This project is located in Hailing Village, the filming site for “A Life in Tongfang’s ‘Place of Longing’.” The high-altitude swing stands 10 meters tall and consists of a gate‑shaped frame supported by six steel tubes, which are securely anchored into the cliff face to prevent any displacement. It is ideally suited for locations on mountaintops with significant elevation changes. The swing seat is held in place by an electromagnet; when the magnet releases, the long swing instantly swings outward toward the edge of the cliff, creating a sensation as if one’s entire body has been suddenly freed from support, offering an exhilarating experience that truly captures the thrill of standing “on the brink of life and death.”
